We recommend you use the app in the Teacher Assist Mode This allows you, the facilitator, to turn the ”MoveIt” button on only when you are satisfied with the child’s performance.
I am using the Motion Reader Library on an iPad. Can I use it on my phone, too?
Your student will get the most out of the MRL app if he is using a tablet (iPad or Android) because the text is larger on a larger screen. But the Motion Reader Library will work perfectly well on iPhones and Android phones, too!

These books are adorable! How can I get more of them?
If you subscribe to the Plus version of the app, you will receive more books, available on even more devices. Books are being created all the time and with the Plus version, you will also receive them as they are being published.
When Lucy Goose is searching for her lost goslings, there are a couple pages that do not have the MoveIt button.
As the text on those pages says, “touch the gosling with your finger”. This will start the animation on those pages.
My family is from Mexico. Can the Motion Reader Library help my kids learn English?
Definitely! The child will see the word, hear the word, and see the word acted out. This repetition with multiple senses helps the learning process.
When I download a book, does it reside on my device?
Yes. It will stay there until your subscription ends, or until you remove it. The “Clear Cache” button in the Parent/Teacher section will remove all Motion Reader Library books from your device.
Are more books planned to expand the library?
Yes! More stories are coming. And those with the Plus subscription will automatically receive them at no extra charge.
Can I use the Motion Reader Library on a trip to an area without an internet signal?
Yes! Simply download the books you want to read while you still have an internet signal before you set off on your trip.
I am a Plus user paying monthly. How can I upgrade to Plus Annual so I can take advantage of the annual subscription’s 30% discount?
In order to change your subscription type from monthly to annual, you will need to cancel your current monthly subscription, and then start fresh by re-subscribing to the app on an annual payment plan.
Why is there a “Read Only” mode? There is no animation, music or sound effects.
Sometimes it’s useful to go back to a story that has been read numerous times, and see how long it takes for the child to read the same story without the clues offered by the animation. The timer on the book’s last page can be used to check their progress.
